This is my second stay at a Club Quarters, and there's something about them that just leaves me unsatisfied, for no real reason. I know that they are a membership-based chain, and thus fit more the corporate housing market, but for a chain that does that, I'm surprised that the amenities aren't at the same quality as other business traveler hotels. I don't like the self-service aspect of the hotel, especially when you make the trek to the self-service closet on your floor only to find that all the irons and ironing boards are taken (as I did) - they you inevitably have to call guest services anyway. Because of this model, the hotel seems understaffed - all staff though at this location were very cordial and helpful when called upon.
The free Internet throughout the hotel was a big plus, and I was upgraded to a suite upon arrival (always a good thing). The TV in the living area could have been larger, and the furniture was a bit old. Relative to other competing hotels, the bed is far less comfortable, but nothing too bad.
Overall, it's an average hotel that didn't have anything special about it. I would probably stay there again just due to the price (about $100 cheaper than the Sheraton in Houston), but without any loyalty program or something remotely differentiating, it's a tough sell.
