“Food and service are OK!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

We have eaten here several times for the lunch buffet. They have dosa, which is South Indian, and it is not available at some other Indian buffets in Houston. Food here is pretty good and there is a wide selection including some Chinese dishes. My kids enjoy the soft serve mango ice cream. The buffet price is a little high but that seems to be typical for Indian buffets in Houston.

“Good Indian Food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2012

The food here is good. Less parking, takes time to serve. A little high on price side IMHO.
But overall I would say that it is good for a dinner Indian style after a long time.

Nice selections of buffet and the service is good, not great. Love the garlic Naan bread. The iceing on the cake is the soft serve ice cream machine that has mango ice cream...yum!

“Bad ethics and business pratices”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2010

I approached for a job at the restaurant and the owner grabbed the manager, who told me that they would hire Mexican women but not Indian women. They said they were not racist. But it seemed to me that they were acting against the law. One is not supposed to discriminate against sex, religion, race and age apart from other things. They have violated two laws by discriminating against Indian women ( sex and race). I hope this does not go unnoticed by the customers and hope you ask why they have those discriminating policies.

“Not worth it”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2010

This is the worth Indian restaurant we have ever been to. My husband has been praising the Mayuri restaurant in Dallas. So, we thought we ll give it a try in Houston. OMG it is just terrible. The food here is not edible and it looks stale. There are very few options for vegetarian indian food and all the non- vegetarian options taste the same. The only differ in color and size. It is also a little expensive compared to the Indian restaurants in Dallas and it is definitely not worth the money
