“Outstanding Seafood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

My favorite seafood restuarant in Houston. TYo begin try the shrinp and crab campchano -there version of ceviche that combines shellfish with avacado and is just out of this world. Our favorites also include the fried shrimp , mesquite grilled shrimp with green and red sauce and wha tI consider the best fried soft shell crab anywere - New Orleand included.

“Don't miss this Houston gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

A must for out of town company and a great place for the locals. Climb the stairs of the permanent train car (or take the ramp) and enter into Texas fish heaven. The freshest fish dishes in town and great margaritas too. The best campechana around - even written up in the New York Times magazine. It's listed as an appetizer but big enough for a full meal. I get it as take out for my out of town guests who want to dine at my house. We bring our out of country travelers here and they love the ambiance and pictures on the walls.

“Very good food and service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013 via mobile

Monday night and a holiday; full house by 7 pm. Parking lot looked like we were going to be faced with a wait but we were seated immediately at 5:30 when we arrived. We ordered one meal and shared it. If they split it in the back it's $4.95 extra so we just had them bring us an extra plate. The pecan pie was excellent. Paid $50 ( includes tip) for the special, one tea a dinner salad and dessert ( homemade pies and dressing! ). Would recommend. Pretty loud is only complaint.

“Campechano Extra”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

This sweet, but fairly spicy and extremely flavorful, Tex-Mex shrimp and crab cocktail is very unique and one of my favorite things to eat in Houston. Order one, add the chopped jalapenos, and enjoy. Amazing.

“Dinner for two - Westpark Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

My wife and I love good seafood. Goode Company, while famous for it's BBQ, does GREAT Seafood. We ate at the Westpark Location. The restaurant has two sides. One side is an old dining car with sit down counter and 4 tops. The other side is a kind of a closed in porch. NOTE: 1. very casual atmosphere. (if you are looking for decor - this is not the place to go - this location focuses on the food) 2. The ambiance on the dining car is retro-cool; the closed in porch side is very lacking. Wait for the Dining car side if you want some atmosphere. If all you are looking for is food, either will do. Recommend - Campechana de mariscos appetizer - excellent seafood cocktail; mesquite grilled Red Snapper. Great smoky flavor and very fresh fish. My rating is "Very Good" and not excellent due to the very casual diner type atmosphere.
