I think maybe the name is changed, but anyway on 10/25/09 we had a fantastic late breakfast at this Taqueria: BIG egg and chorizo burrito for $2.99 (cheese and avocado $.75 extra), egg and meat taquito (taco, basically) for $1.49, and I had miga (sliced, crunchy corn tortillas sauteed with eggs, onion, spices) with tasty crisp potatoes and yummy beans for $3.99. Couldn't resist sampling a couple lengua (beef tongue, tastes like succulent pot roast) tacos, which was some of the best we've had anywhere.
Also a complimentary basket of light, crunchy, addictive tortilla chips with an earthy, lightly spicy red salsa and (watery, but yummy) cheese dip.
If you live anywhere in the galleria/river oaks/downtown area this should be your go-to place for breakfast.
