Cafe Piquet is in a cute little spot. The interior is very Cuban-inspired and tasteful. The place seems family owned and the waiters had a noticeable Cuban/Spanish appeal that was really welcoming.
The food is tremendous. The daily Special is a safe bet, you are bound to get a great meal for under 10$. Also, the cuban sandwiches are delicious. I would recommend just the normal cuban, rather than the supercuban, because the regular cuban is big enough. The supercuban is just another half regular cuban added to your plate with banana chips. (My friend and I experienced this).
Overall, it's a great place and I highly recommend it. It's affordable, family owned, welcoming, and the food is GREAT!
