This small, intimate restaurant is amazing! From the cozy decor to the personable manager, to the waitstaff and bartenders who so obviously love their jobs, to the chef who truly understands food.
Cava Bistro is serves what they call Mediterranean food, but I think it's way more Melting-Pot American. Lamb chops, red snapper, gnocchi, pork tenderloin, risotto, steaks, leek tart, and on and on. The desserts are worth making room. The wine list is almost unending and the manager or waitstaff will be happy to offer suggestions.
There are so many restaurants in Houston, but this is one that stands out and shines brightly.
I went to one of their wine pairing dinners which was 5 courses. Talk about a memorable experience! The portions were perfect enough to enjoy the glass of wine but not big enough to fill up on. It was $60/pp and WELL worth every penny!
