Description: Since our 1967 opening as a sister restaurant to the world-famous Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Brennan's of Houston has evolved into the city's premier destination for memorable dining served with true Southern hospitality. From the reservationist to the waiters, chefs and every associate behind the scenes, our team is focused on the highest standard of excellence and equally dedicated to creating enduring memories of snapshots in time: the sealing of business deals, wedding proposals, joyful celebrations, and the marking of significant milestones along life's way. And the proof is in the (bread) pudding, with loyal patrons returning time and again to create new memories.Reflecting the same warmth as our friendly greeting, each farewell concludes with Brennan's signature lagniappe: an abundance of unforgettably fresh pecan pralines.

“3 Martini Friday Afternoon Lunch Party”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

After being absent from my hometown Houston for several years, I hosted a Friday afternoon lunch table for old friends and relatives. We could not have had a better time. The restaurant was just perfect, and the three martini lunch special made for a festive afternoon. The food was fantastic and the service by Marcello was impeccable. If you are looking for that traditional, old world professional service, quality food and ambiance, this is the place in Houston. I have been fortunate in my travels to have dined in many nice restaurants. I would rate Brennans right up there at the top.

“Elegance any time of the day”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 12, 2013

Easily one of the best restaurant experiences in my life. I would put Brennan's up with Commander's Palace in New Orleans, Ruth's Chris in Boston, Garlic Press in Midland. I had brunch there and it was prepared and presented to perfection. Service was perfect - all done in English which is nice these days. This place has been perfection in Houston for many years and still is. Had the eggs benedict - again - exquisitely prepared and presented. Wow!

“This is what I'm talking about!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I recently had brunch at Brennan's of Houston with a group of dear friends. Texas creole, yes'ma'am! The ambiance, decor, service and food were perfection. I mean the BEST food, perhaps even surpassing what I had recently in New Orleans. Love, love this place, which is now on the top of my list when I visit Houston and are ISO elegance and delight. The concierge, Margie, went the extra mile to make sure the gathering was the best. I highly recommend Brennan's of Houston when you want to be reminded of how a restaurant experience is supposed to be.

“Great company and atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

The ambiance is very upscale new orleans from the dim bricked interior to the oversized (texas sized) chairs. Service was exquisite, including a tour of the kitchen, wine was fabulous, and the bread pudding soufle was terrific! Great for special occassions and that special person or people in your life.

“Great fine dining”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013 via mobile

I have been to Brennan's for events and have always enjoyed the food. I went recently with friends for a birthday lunch. The service is top notch, everyone is extremely professional and go out of their way to make the experience. The oyster salad was amazing and I loved the rio of soups which is a tiny bowl of turtle soup along with the other soups of the day. A lovely IDE if you don't want to commit to a large bowl of the turtle soup. Definitely a number one choice for celebrations and special occasions, really lives up to its reputation.
