Description: Masraff's on Post Oak Blvd is a casually elegant upscale restaurant owned and operated by Houston restaurateurs, Tony and Russell Masraff. The restaurant has quickly become a local favorite with it's unique American cuisine and contemporary ambiance. Best described as American cuisine with a touch of Southern Europe, the seafood, fowl, homemade pastas, lamb, beef and seasonal game will satisfy the most discriminating diner. Soon after opening, Masraff's received stellar early reviews, including the prestigious three-star rating from the Houston Chronicle Dining Guide, as well as being named among the ten new restaurants on the culinary cutting edge in the US by The Wall Street Journal. For a delightful culinary experience, dine at the Chef's Table, where the Chef prepares a gourmet six -course dinner of his choosing. The Restaurant, which has recently moved to 1753 Post Oak Blvd from its former location at 1025 S.Post Oak Lane, seats over 200 for lunch and dinner.

“One of Houston's Best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Masraff's new location on Post Oak Blvd far surpasses its old. Open and airy decor.....greart atmosphere and excellent service and food...are a standard. With Fall coming on sit on the patio and enjoy the air....

“High End Place With Very Good Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Houston has a ton of great restaurants. Many of them are located within a few minutes of Masraff's. However, this is one of the better ones. I had the bacon-wrapped quail for an appetizer. It was fantastic. Probably some of the best quail I have ever had. The lamb (medium rare) was a very good choice for the main course as well. The service was excellent. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We had about 10 people in our party so they gave us a private room. All in all, I rate them as very good in comparison to other high end restaurants across the Houston area. I can easily recommend this place and would love to eat here again. I didn't think the atmosphere was all that special but I can't ding Masraff's too badly for that because I wasn't there for the atmosphere, I was there for the food.

“Upscale in Uptown”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2012

Absolutely delicious dining near the Galleria in Uptown. The calamari were the best ever! Not really fried but flash fried then sautéed in a soy, garlic and mushroom sauce. The ahi was outstanding--beyond sushi grade! The molten chocolate soufflé provided the perfect ending. The decor was very contemporary but not cold. Service was friendly, helpful and attentive without being overbearing. One of the best Houston restaurants we have been to and WE'LL BE BACK!!!

“For a special occasion, or ANY occasion”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2012

With so many good restaurants in Houston, we don't often return to the same one within a week or two. However, Masraff's is the exception to our rule. From arrival, to cocktails, to a fabulous dinner, to departure, we find no fault with the service or the food. Ask for Russ to be your server, and enjoy a fine dining experience.

“This is the bomb!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2012

Well, i am pretty much a hole in the wall restaurant advocate and was very skeptical when i first tried this restaurant from a friends recommendation, and it was the bomb! The food was great, ambiance was cool and reasonable for the price you pay. Good food I would say and nicely prepared. The owner stopped by and talked to us briefly as well. The servers were very attentive.
I ordered the calami and its the best I had so far in the US! The dessert was fantastic and the main course were delicious
