“Some of the best Tex Mex in Houston.... and that's saying a lot!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2011

After moving to Houston i learned to love tex mex food. Chuy's has some of the best tex mex. Their salsas are great, ask for the creamy jalapeno if they dont bring to your table- addicting. Great margaritas, chimichangas, fajitas, and flan- cant really go wrong. I recommend going during happy hour (believe weekdays between 4-7 pm) so you can get 1/2 price margaritas and also sample the chips bar (try the queso). There are a few more locations in the Houston area, but to me, the one on Westheimer is the best!

“The Greatest Tex-Mex in Town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2011

Amazing Tex-Mex for reasonable prices. I always get the burrito- they're HUGE and stuffed with beans, cheese, and/or meat. I definitely recommend the chile con queso and the margaritas. The ambiance is great too- kind of a 50's rock vibe with vinyl seats and hub cabs covering the ceiling. There is an equally incredible location in Austin, so if you're in Texas, don't miss out!

“Favorite Texmex in Houston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2010

Chuys - two different locations, both off Westiemer one south of 610 and one north of 610.

Make sure you get some creamy jalapeno - its used as a dressing but many use it on the chips made fresh daily.

There are a variety of items that you will enjoy, dont just go for the fajitas. Even the enchilada's are excellent.

Be sure to visit the Elvis Presley shrine at each location.

Anyone in Houston that hasnt eaten at Chuy's doesnt truly know texmex!

“Wonderful experience that is impossible to beat.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2010

My family enjoyed the atmosphere. The wait time to be seated wasn't bad for that time of evening. The greeter was very polite and personable. The waitress was well balanced. She took care of us without being over-obvious at wanting a good tip. The portions were awesome and the food tasted great. This was a great overall experience.
