“The Best Seafood in Houston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2010

We love to eat at Pappadeaux's. The Seafood is always great! We are never disappointed when we eat there! My husband and I always get the Seafood Platter and split it. This dish is enough for 2 of us. Sometimes we add a shrimp cocktail and it is wonderful.

“The place to eat on a Houston layover”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2010

Great food and service, we ate here on the way back from Costa Rica and only wish we had known about it on the way down. We ate and drank our fill here, I think we spent 2 hours here in fact. Our server was fine with our hanging out and taking our time eating, with no push to get us out the door even though they were busy. Three courses, two rounds and two hours later cost all of $40 each, plus 20% tip (other Canadians please note that you are in the States and don't cheap out on the tip please, it looks bad for the rest of us)

“Pappadeaux delivers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2010

Used to life in Houston and Pappadeaux was one of our favorites. On a recent business trip I went again and it was outstanding as always. The service is very attentative but not Chili's style annoying. The food is outstanding. Period. I had the special, a Mahi Mahi with stuffing (which is their special, you have got to get that). To die for. Their gumbo is also great as an appetizer. If you want fried fish, it is probably good to here but this place is really best know for their stuffed specials. It is just fabulous.
