“A great family activity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

We loved the display and the information on all the different bugs, spiders, flys, and everything else that creeps and crawls. The butterfly house was lovely! Caters very well for families with kids. Well worth a look!

“Delightful Way to Spend a Winter Afternoon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

Hands down one of my favorite places to go in Houston! I could spend an entire day there and still not see everything. Has lots of live insects as well as lepidoptera, and many interactive exhibits. Great for all ages, and since you see live butterflies and moths with live plants, it can be different every time you go!

Lots and Lots of butterflies that float very close and allow visitors to view them at their feedings.

“Cockrell Butterfly Center”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

This is a great addition to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Be sure and go on a sunny day to see the butterflies at their most active. If you are in town doing treatments at the Texas Medical Center, this is a serene place to take you mind off your troubles and is in very close proximity.
