Fair price and really good smoked flavor. We got brisket, turkey, and sausage, (1/2 lb of each) which was enough to feed 4. They don't have texas toast, which was my only complaint, but they do give you as much white or wheat bread as you ask for. They have 2 types of brisket: moist (aka fatty) and lean (aka not as fatty). We got the lean, which still had some fat on it, but good enough. I also had the potato salad, which can be hit or miss at some places, but was good here. Typical potato salad with egg, onion, and pickles.
The atmosphere is really cool. It's in a gas station/convenience store, but there are lots of tables/picnic tables. So don't think this is strictly a take-out place. It's pretty much self-service. You order your food, get it, then take it to a table. If you have left overs you grab some butcher's paper and a paper bag and bag it up yourself. There are signs asking you to pick up all of your trash and dispose of it yourself.
Oh, and the sauce...almost forgot about the sauce. Good enough. Not so much that I was tempted to buy a bottle, but much better than the BBQ places in LA, where sauce is spicy ketchup.
All in all I would recommend this place and will likely go back when in the area.
