Don't be fooled by the exterior of this hotel. Despite a somewhat rundown-looking exterior, the hotel is very nice. Clean, quiet rooms. Great cable TV. Small but serviceable pool and fitness area. Friendly staff. And, a great location--walk to MinuteMaid Park, the Convention Center, old Main Street with its restaurants and bars. Or, take the new light rail from the front door to downtown, the museums or Reliant Stadium. All in all, a great hotel for the price.
