Chama Gaucha is the best churrascaria we have ever been to in the United States. We have been dining at churrascarias as a couple for more than a decade and we each like something different: he likes more tender meat and I like mine well done, he likes traditional Brazilian sides at the salad bar and I prefer rice and beans, and Chama Gaucha has everything we both wanted. The meat is cooked to perfection, most of it is somewhere a little more cooked than medium. What I was struck by was how hot all of the meat was - sometimes at churrascarias the meat is not piping hot, but here it was. The chicken wrapped with bacon was even better than the filet wrapped with bacon. Chicken is often dry and tasteless at churrascarias because it is not the main item people go there for. But you must try it at Chama Gaucha! The service was excellent, and of course at churrascarias the gauchos try to feed you as fast as possible, but you may always turn your card over to red if you'd like a break. Reasonable price compared to Fogo and you get much better service and quality. We'll be back in a heartbeat. One note - there really is no parking available in the entire lot if you go on a Friday or Saturday night, just give in to the valet and enjoy your evening :)
