The Biscuit Bacon Casserole at Sorrel Urban Bistro is one of the best brunch dishes I've ever had, and one of the most original. Our first time here was so much better than we expected that I'm only disappointed that we'd waited so long to try it. We literally loved the space, the light, even the bathroom tile. We sat there marveling at the exacting attention and care that went into hanging the Christmas ornaments from the ceiling - just so.

Every dish was very good, the drinks were very good, the coffee was very good. Everything was very good - I wish I could write that about more restaurant experiences.

From the warm greeting by the host, to a lively and engaging waitress, add an attentive manager, and servers and bussers all seamlessly supporting one another, and you get an all to rare excellent restaurant service experience. Everything clicked, and the one very minor misstep was literally overcorrected in order ensure our very good time at Sorrel.

Great service, great food, and far less expensive than expected; actually not pricey at all. Added to our new favorites.

First night of a two week road trip, so hoping for a good start.

Whilst the restaurant did not actually set us off on a high, it should have done better.

My wife is a vegetarian, and there was little offered to her. Having to have a side dish of ratatouille as a main course, at a restaurant hoping to impress, just does not do it for a vegetarian.

My scallops and steak were both really tasty, but at the high price should have been.

Service was attentive, and they were responsive to helping me retrieve the credit card that I left there, but they need deliver better value choices overall if they are to achieve solid status.

Wonderful place to have lunch or dinner. Delicious food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Looking forward to my next visit.

We had a delightful meal at Sorrel. You have to ask for salt (which I always do) and you should, just to see the three colors of salt they bring. The herbed/vegetable oils they bring with the bread are also a delight. The service is excellent and the food is presented so as to be pleasing to the eye and palate. We asked for a recommendation on the wine and were not disappointed and it is actually fairly reasonably priced. The shrimp bisque was very good and the main dishes were lovely. The portions were very satisfying, without being too much. Next time I hope to be able to save room for dessert. My only complaint is a matter of personal preference and that was that it was very noisy. I know that is equated with fun these days, but I do like to be able to talk and hear.
