I Have just returned from a 3 day stayat Sheraton Brookhollow in Houston TX. #ONE reservations made in Jan. 2005 for March stay. Requested 2 rooms kingsize bed, smoking for 4 adults. Upon arrival was informed not available. #TWO after finally getting a room spent
the entire stay with someone else's dirty bath towels and wash cloths over my shower rod. Room was not cleaned for two days upon complaint was "comped" a room service charge (very nice but did'nt help the fact that I needed clean bath linens.) #THREE we were with a convention that required a banquet ticket for Sat. night cost $25.00, while in line for buffet we were informed out of food. This all could have been handled a little better if the person in charge (Nancy last name unkown) had not been so rude. From the time of arrival until we left she acted like we were to much trouble for her to deal with. Had it have not been for Dederia Hope and her resturant staff this would have been the worst service I have dealt with and I travel at least once every two months and have for over 5 years. This will be the last time I will stay at Sheraton Brookhollow.

It was our 2 yr. ann. and I booked this hotel because it was the nicest looking rooms for about $50 bucks in houston. Since im from houston, I know that that particular vicinity of houston is not the most impressive side. This is the second hotel i stayed @ in the brookhollow area, and have not been let down yet. Upon arrival, we proceeded to check in but was not allowed early check in, so we went shopping and came back. We were immediately greeted and assigned a room. the lady apologized for it, but it was no big deal as we just wanted to get out weekend started asap. The hotel has evening horsderves and beverages for the club level, which we stayed on. We did not get to try them since we went out for the evening. Our room (it reminds me of the Omni hotel in New Orleans) was a little small for our tastes, but was furnished with a huge entertainment cabinet, comfy lounge chair with ottoman, large mirror and nice size queen bed that was extremely comfy with extra pillows...and the window was huge! the room came with a bathrobe and bath supplies, bottled water and internet access. They even made a jacket w/ tie out of the towels! (executive suite) the bathroom was extra clean and counter was marble (not granite or plastic). the only prob. I had was the ice machine on our floor did not work. We took advantage of the complimentary shuttle to go around town in, you just give them a time to pick you up and take you back to the hotel. Check out is easy. You just place the bill that they slide under your door in a container @ the elevator before walking out to your car in the covered parking garage. overall, i would stay here again. and its only about 5 miles from the galleria.

What a horrible experience. Mattress was like a cot. Two inches thick. Throw up was reported in the elevator. No one ever cleaned it up. Wild parties were held in the hotel with people in the halls drinking full bottles of alcohol and lying down. I had to walk through them with harrassment to get to/from vehicle. My sink filled with water whenever my neighbor used their sink. I would never recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at the Sheraton Brookhollow in Houston and the experience was extremely pleasant. I got a great rate thanks to Sheraton’s Best Rate Guarantee on Sheraton.com. The staff made our stay wonderful. From the time we checked-in to the time we left, the staff was welcoming and very attentive. I must admit, I think I made an error when booking my reservation by reserving the wrong room type. The Front Desk staff and the bellman were extremely helpful in getting us into our preferred room type. They even provided us with a complimentary upgrade due to the inconvenience of being checked into the wrong room, even though it was my fault. They really do live up to their Sheraton Service Promise. I will say that the property is a little outdated, however I can attest that the cleanliness of our room was superb. At most hotels you can find a little dust or maybe a spot on the carpet, but we didn’t experience any of that. The sports bar off the lobby is a good place to relax. The bartender was very personable and chatted with us while we watched the some of the Astros game on their big screen. The complimentary shuttle that takes guests to restaurants, places to shop, etc. was quite convenient since we didn’t want to fight Houston traffic in our own car. All in all, the Sheraton Brookhollow is a good place to stay if you are looking for affordable value and first-class service in one.
