We recently spent a very comfortable and relaxing anniversary night at Robin's Nest B & B in the Montrose section of Houston. The house & accomadations reminded us of the warm atmosphere of the homes of grandparents and elderly aunts. We appreciated that when we first visited their web site we received information on local museums and restaurants, so we were able to plan our stay well in advance of our arrival.

The B & B, mirrored the Montrose neighborhood which is a pleasant escape from the busy commercialism that seems to prevail in the rest of Houston. Best of all--- it is walking distance from the Black Labrador Pub! I highly recommend this B & B for those visiting Houston and tired of the large "Luxury" hotels.

My husband and I got married at Robin's Nest and stayed. This lovely home has 3 great bedrooms to choose from each attractively furnished in a different motif. The beds have feather down mattresses - not the 3' stuff, I mean the REALLY sumptious ones. After sleeping so soundly, we were treated to a great breakfast. Robin makes a mean breakfast! We can't say enough about the time, care and love this woman puts in this BNB. If you don't stay here, you really miss out!

I was married at the Robin's Nest in Houston, Texas and it was wonderful. We also stayed there the night of the wedding. It couldn't have been more perfect. Robin and her staff did an excellent job, catering the reception with excellent food and service. Highly recommend A++++++
