Having stayed at the Residence Inn consistently for nearly five months, I feel like part of their family. Every guest is greeted with a smile and willingness to assist from each of the staff. The front desk staff is incredible, the rooms are always clean, and the morning breakfast buffet and evening hospitality hours always well staffed and supplied! The shuttle service is a bonus. Guests are encouraged to come to the desk 45 minutes before needing to be at their destination as the shuttles are consistently busy with all of the guests transporation needs to-and-from the medical center and surrounding areas. The rooms are not new, with much older cabinetry, couches, and color schemes. However, they are going to begin additional renovation soon with all new updates! Overall, an exceptional value for your dollar!

Residence Inn in Houston at Medical Center/Reliant Park was a sheer delight in the cleanliness and neatness of their property. At first, the property seemed overly dense with buildings, but, upon realizing that the interior 'apartment' was clean, modern, fresh and comfortable, all else was a non-issue. The staff was very nice; especially the folks preparing the continental breakfast and the afternoon social hour. Given the necessity for certain standards and protocols for patients of MD Anderson Cancer Center and other medical guests, I must say I felt very *medically* SAFE in staying at the Residence Inn Medical Center/Reliance Park and recommend it to family and friends for expected Houston stays in the coming months.

I work for FEMA and my staff and I have stayed at this Residence Inn off and on for the last 4 years working Tropical Storm Allison. The staff are the friendliest I have encountered anywhere. They are always willing to help you in every way possible. They treat me like a member of their family. The rooms are very spacious and clean, and meet my needs adequately. Mr. David Gould, the Manager, also goes out of his way to help out and wants to make your stay pleasant. This appears to be an older Residence Inn but they are continuously rennovating. This particular facility deals with a lot of medical patients because of their proximity to the Medical Center. They treat those people with patience and kindness also. I highly recommend this facility to anyone staying in the area. In fact, our office was located very close by when I started staying there, now we are across town, almost to the ship channel area. I chose to stay where I was and drive back and forth, only because I was very comfortable there.

The only thing I would change if I was in charge and had the funds of course, I would put a recliner in each room. The couch is not very comfortable but the bed is!

We would like to say a special "Thank You" to the staff at Residence Inn Houston Medical Center/Reliant Park. We actually stayed there 3 times from October - December 2004 and had a wonderful experience everytime. The staff was always nice, friendly, and anixous to help with not just things pertaining to Residence Inn but information about the city. They made a very stressful time less stressful by helping in every way.
The breakfast and evening "happy hour" were always great. We have stayed in many hotels but this was the best service we had every received. Keep up the good work guys!
