Excellent in all areas. They picked us up at the airport and took us back the next morning to catch the cruise shuttle. We even booked a stay for after our cruise. The staff was friendly and made sure our needs were met like early check in and late check out at no extra charge. The beds were the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed at. The hotel is newly renovated, clean and no smoke smell in the rooms. The Kick Back time provided great food and drinks at no charge. Breakfast was home style and delicious. We appreciated how the staff made us feel like we were home. I wish I could remember all their names, but only remember Phamy. He was a superb representative for the Drury Inn and Suites. We'll definitely stay there when in the Houston area.

This was perfect for my short business trip to Houston, an affordable option compared to the overpriced hotels downtown. Unlike many places near the airport, Drury Inn is on a side street that is quieter and gives easier access than the main thoroughfare. It was super easy to navigate to/from the airport auto rental lots, and there was direct access to Interstate 45. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable--I had a spacious room with a comfortable chair and a work desk. And outlets galore! The Drury understands that guests come with a lot of electronic gadgets that need to be plugged in (look for the outlets on the bedside tables). I didn't find the hair dryer until the second day (ugh), hidden on the closet shelf. Breakfast was okay--I stuck with scrambled eggs and toast but there were other options--and the happy hour with free drinks was a nice surprise (set up in the breakfast area since there is no bar). But best of all were the staff, each of whom was genuinely friendly. I would definitely recommend the Drury Inn to anyone looking for a home base near the Hobby Airport.

Always have liked Drury Inns, and this one will be nice one day. But they were renovating, and the rooms are old and need it. The lobby is make shift and the rooms smell like old smoke. I can't wait to see if finished. They also have allot of noise during the redo. Call ahead and be sure they are done before you stay.

I booked this hotel for the night before my cruise out of Galveston. We booked a 1 bedroom suite and was impressed with it. The desk staff was great on check-in and out. The food was good and housekeeping helped us by giving us trashbags to cover our luggage because it was raining. That saved us from going to the store

Room Tip: These suites are great for families.

We stumbled on this hotel arriving a day early for a cruise out of Galveston. It was Clean, Neat, the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The complimentary appetisers were enough for dinner. And breakfast was included. You are out of the main drag - only one cafe across the street, but it was good for lunch, too. Great for one night before or after a cruise/flight, etc. Don't let the low cost fool you - this is a top notch hotel.

My friends and I came into Houston only to see the musical Wicked. I had stayed in a Drury in San Antonio and was impressed enough to book a night at the Drury by the Houston airport. It was an excellent value and all of my friends were pleased with our reservations. The desk staff was extremely accomodating at our very late arrival and upon our departure, dividing the costs of the room between graciously. The breakfast was delicious.
I felt that my room was somewhat musty and damp. None of my others friends had this experience, however.
We were told that this property will soon be updated and remodeled. Its nice now so it will be great when the work is done.
I will stay at Drury again
