My husband and I lodged here for just two nights while in town for a wedding. The location was perfect for us as the property is close to I-45 and very near Highway 3. Our check-in was quick. The property is, of course, more of an extended stay so there's no traditonal front desk, rather there is an office. Similar to a leasing office in an apartment complex. There are two three-story buildings. We were very impressed with the secured entry. Apparently the property gets a lot of business travelers who stay for long periods so it's managed like a secure apartment community.
All the ladies, including housekeeping were very nice. Our room was super clean. A studio with a seriously comfy bed and pillows, a pull out sofa bed, which we didn't need, and a full kitchen equipped with cookware, utensils, glasses, etc. Quick and easy internet access.
The only negative was the bathtub in our room drained very slowly so it meant a very quick shower or risk standing ankle deep in water. Not good. We alerted the manager so hopefully that plumbing issue has been remedied.
We booked directly through Marriott.com, securing a rate of only $79 a night and came with continental breakfast. Nothing too special but there was a waffle station. Other than that, there were Otis Spunk muffins, bottles of oj and apple juice, fruit, and the like.
I was extremely pleased that we stayed here. It's right next door to a bank, across the street from restaurants and a sports bar, and around the corner from a gas station and strip mall with a grocery store and other little shops.
It's also just down the road from the mall. That's always helpful. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the Clear Lake/Nasa/Kemah/Seabrook/League City/Dickinson area. These are all little towns that feed into one another without clear cut borders so if you are anywhere near those, I highly recommend the TP Suites.
