We stayed at Drury Inn and Suites for 4 days while my mother had surgery in Houston. Check in was quick and efficient. The rooms were modest in size but clean and well-appointed. They were remarkably quiet even though located next to a busy interstate. There was no road noise nor noise from either the hallways or adjoining rooms. The bed linens were changed daily and the staff quick to bring additional linens if needed. Each morning a hot breakfast was served (complimentary) and was surprisingly good. Coffee, soft drinks and popcorn were available in the lobby throughout the day. The staff was friendly, helpful, and gracious, and seemed to truly understand the concept of taking care of guests. Although advertised as near the Galleria, it actually is too far to walk given the hot sultry conditions of Houston. However there are many restaurants that are within 2 to 3 minutes drive. The hotel is centrally located to many attractions, with rapid access to the inner bypass. If we return to Houston, we would stay at Drury.

My husband and I spent a whole week looking for a hotel in the Houston area to stay at over the weekend that had all the things we wanted. Drury seemed to have it all so we booked it. When we arrived, it didnt look like a fancy hotel, but the hotel staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. We were more excited when we went to our room and found our double room really was a spacious and clean double room. An open living space with a frige and microwave in the entertainment center, and a bedroom with a door in it for extra privacy. (Great for families since the couch folds out to a bed.) In our fridge was a free pepsi and in the microwave was a bag of free popcorn. In the morning, we were suprized again by breakfast. They had all they said; scrambled eggs, delicious sausage, french toast (not so tasty), biscuits and gravy, cereal if you wanted, huge waffels you can make yourself, delicious juices, and of course the regular contential type breakfast of bagels and such. Oh, and coffie of course! That night, they really did serve free drinks and snacks in the eating area, and you can even get a tray to bring them up to the room. The pool area was very nice and clean, and the pool was really an indoor outdoor pool since you coul swim under the divider and go to the outside part. Having free internet and free long distance calls was good too. Overall, this was a great hotel stay for $104 dollars a night. Just remember there's some $11 dollar fee added for each nights stay; and i think maybe a $4 dollar fee to, but I'm not completely sure. But I still say its well worth it. Oh yea, FREE parking too. You just get a code to get out with. We will deffently try and stay at a Drury Inn next time we go somewhere.

We found the Drury Inns and Suites near the Galleria after a terrible stay at a Parks Inns and Suites on the NW highway. The staff at the Drury was extremly friendly and helpful, the price was great and the room was excellent. The breakfast was tremendous and facilities were great. The manager went above and beyond to make us happy, even opening the beverage bar after hours to allow us to get some apple juice. The staff during checkout was great as well, after problems with a credit card, they even considered acepting a personal check which is almost unheard of at an out of town hotel. The pool and hot tub were great. I would stay at this hotel agin without even thinking. The value was good considering we got a hot breakfast for four the next morning that I am sure was worth $20-30 if we would have gone out somewhere.
