I was at first reluctant to stay at this hotel because of some of the negative reviews I read all across the web but because it was in our budget and close to the areas we planned to visit I went ahead and booked it. We were traveling with a couple of friends so we booked 2 rooms. When we arrived the staff was very friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean. I really do not have much to complain about that would be related to the hotel. The biggest problem was the construction around the hotel which made it difficult to get to from the highway.

Rooms are big clen and comfertable,staff is verymuch helpful and nasa tikits are 30% less then gate,worth for the price,they have change name to econolodge but service has not change atall as i have stayed hear in 07 also

We stayed for one night prior to heading to Galveston for a cruise.
The rooms are older, but clean and spacious. We had no noise and the beds were comfortable. The front desk was very helpful and polite and the continental breakfast was as good as any I have had. There is road construction but not difficult to drive in on the weekend and it was very close to Houston Nasa and offered tickets at $5 less than the space center. Would definitely stay again for a short stay

Stayed four nights, Oct 18th thru 22nd. Rooms were nice-sized, clean, and well equipped. Bed was very comfortable. No problems with smell nor mold as reported in previous posts. Breakfast "buffet" will never be confused with the Hilton's, but I was satisfied with self-made waffles, fruit, and hard boiled eggs. Check-in and check-out were convenient and FAST. One internet-ready terminal in hotel lobby was convenient and usually available. I can recommend Johnny Tomales and IHOP across NASA Rd for close eating spots. Johnson Space Center (NASA) is about a mile down the street. Familarization with local streets will aid in entering/exiting the Quality Inn parking lot with construction taking place on NASA Rd.
