Located on the corner of 1960 W and Cutten Road, Waza's offers an astonishing array of sushi, sashimi, rolls, robata and appetizers. We've been going there since they opened and have never been disappointed. The hustle and bustle of 1960 traffic disappears as you enter the minimalist, yet inspired interior. Happy hour selections (bar area only) are fantastic: Sushi rolls such as the ever-popular Shaggy Dog, the Phoenix Roll and the Philadelphia Roll (my favorite) are must-try's. We always include orders of Goyza, which are pan-fried Dumplings, as well as Miso Soup, and Coconut Shrimp Wonton Puffs. The owners of Waza have set the bar high for food quality and freshness, served in a beautiful environment. When you're out in the Woodlands, try out their second restaurant - Kita Japanese Cuisine, located behind Hubble & Hudson Grocers near the waterway. Same menu, same architectural sophistication, and same excellent service. Not into sushi? The menu also includes a great selection of Robata dishes.
