“boring”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

cool idea but not much going on. Confusing directions and not much to see. OK for a hot day activity but not that great.

“The best kept secret of Houston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2013

Ever wonder where all the people are in Houston? They are in the tunnels. No one walks outside except those who do not know. We eat, shop, enjoy all in the tunnel system. Air conditioned, beautifully lit, try it.

“Very dull. Both the Guide and the tunnels were boring.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

Sorry to say, this was just an incredibly dull experience. The guide felt the need to stick to a script, even when topics were already covered by questions. For the noon portion of the tour, rather than get those who wanted to order a bite to eat a chance to beat the crazy downtown rush, she insisted on covering the items on her script while office workers milled around us. It was very difficult to hear with all the people. To top it off, regular seating was scant by the time we tried to take a load off. The tunnels are a poor version of those in just about every other major North American city. One big mistake ... don't fake an answer when you don't know. The power plant in the distance is NOT a nuclear facility.

“Grab some tennis shoes and get lost!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2012

So many tunnels are underneath Downtown offices. You really have to see them all and see how they are connected and all the stores, retail and food sprinkled all over the place. A little private, concrete underground community.

“Life under the City”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

I have moved about these tunnels for over 30 years. It has a unique life of moving business people through the various restaurants, offices, churches, medical services and errand destinations. It is amazing to see the masses of people mole through under the city. Fun way to get a brisk walk without having to get out in the weather.
