It's not like there aren't a lot of Italian places around. Italian and Tex-Mex may be the most common restaurant type out there these days. So, it is refreshing to find a locally-owned place that beats many of the chains at their own game.
Napoli's is a small restaurant that is adjacent to their own confectionary (the latter opened in 2012). Over the years, Napoli's has made improvements to the dining area, with recent improvements to seating, lighting, painting, etc. Good job, there.
The menu doesn't vary much, except for a few specials, But you can get pasta just about any way you like, including whole wheat, Just about everything we've had has been great. And the portions are large enough that you'll have something to take home for the next night.
Napoli's is not big, so you may have to wait for a table on the weekends. They've also experimented with live music. The dining area is really too small for this, so it looks they've moved the performers next door to the confectionary.
If you like to patronize local places and like Italian food, give Napoli's a try.
