This was easily the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Right away when we walked in we sensed that there was something not quite right about the place. It took a while for us to be acknowledged and seated. We were just about to leave when someone finally approached us. I wanted to take a look at the menu. There was really nothing interesting on it. The offerings were very bland. Again we considered leaving, but we've never walked out of a place like that. We should have in this case! We didn't like where we were seated. They refused to bring a high chair for the baby seat (she slept the whole time), citing a "fire hazard", though no other restaurant has ever had a problem with it. The booths were a squeeze to get into, and I weigh 135 pounds. The waiter took so long to bring our drinks, we again got up to leave just as he rounded the corner with them. By then we thought we might just pay for the drinks and go. But again, like idiots, we stayed. The food was the worst restaurant food we've ever had. It all appeared to be "instant" pre-packaged food. This restaurant is in the same price range as Applebees or Olive Garden, so it should have been much better. The wait staff were all too busy socializing with each other to pay attention to the customers. I can't believe anyone would ever plan to dine here. This restaurant is located across the street from the Baylor Grapevine Hospital, so they must assume they have a captive audience. If you are visiting someone at the hospital, please do yourself a favor and drive the extra block to either Main Street or the 121/114 restaurant row area. We wish we had. There's $60 we'll never get back.
