“Another great trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2012

We just returned from another great trip to Grapevine,TX staying at Embassy Suites. Originally we'd booked a hotel in Plano just to do something different for a change. When we arrived at that hotel, a tour bus had just unloaded a huge group. Things were too crowded and noisy for us to enjoy it like planned. They allowed us to cancel our reservations, so we headed down the road to fine something else. After looking for almost 2hrs, we decided to try and get a room at the Embassy. This hotel had a wedding and 2 family reunions going on when we arrived. The lobby was crowded and a lot of people going and coming. This did not affect us at all! We got a huge room on the 12th floor (penthouse) with a balcony. It was perfect especially since we had our 3 kids with us and they could all have their space. There was a tv in the bathroom, 2 large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and a balcony with a gorgeous view of Grapevine lake, the Gaylord and the airport. The kids loved watching the airplanes! Breakfast was delicious with lots of selections, the evening manager's reception was a nice treat and the pool was refreshing! Our home away from home! Jessica at the front dest was most helpful to us. With everything from check-in to check-out she made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful weekend getaway!

Room Tip: Get one on the penthouse floor, it's worth the extra money!

If you've ever stayed at an Embassy Suites you know what to expect, and this one delivered as well. Love the atrium and custom cooked breakfast at a decent price point. Nice pool and exercise room too. Excellent location, especially for families.

The hotel is amazing, breakfast outstanding, shuttle service was great, rooms clean and spacious. Stayed here on my return from Haiti, we were exhausted and the hotel was so relaxing after traveling all day. Thanks you!

Stayed the weekend at the Embassy Suites Ourdoor World in Grapevine with my family of four and absolutley enjoyed it! The hotel has many ameneties to offer Restaurants, Bars, Bass Pro Shop attached to hotel. Staff is very attentive and rooms were very clean. You really have the feel of out-doors without ... being outdoors. Morning complimentary breakfast is hot and great! wind-down reception in evenings very nice. Other area attractions, restaurants are also within a 2 mile walking radius. Along with the Grapevine main street!

as a hilton gold member, we were treated very well from everyone there. Hotel is nice as any other embassy suites. Plenty of parking, close to all attractions, the mall and legoland.

Breakfast was good, my son was entertained by the clown balloon lady,

Will stay again.

My wife wanted to get away for Mother's Day, but she didn't want to travel far from home. We did a little shopping around and found the Embassy Suites in Grapevine. We found a pretty good rate via AAA, so we booked it. I was impressed. Riding the glass elevator up to the 10th floor and looking down to see the river running through the atrium really made me feel like we were on a mini-vacation. It was nice hearing the waterfall during the hot breakfast the next morning. By the way, the omelet was great.

We did have a problem with our room not getting cool enough at night. The thermometer said it was 65 degrees, but it was motion sensor activated in the living room. That's a problem if everyone is sleeping in the bedroom. When there's no motion in the living room, the air would shut off.

I finally called the front desk to complain at midnight and they sent an engineer up to fix the issue. Kind of interesting, they have a secret method they use to drop the temperature lower than the average guest might know about. The engineer fixed the AC motion sensor issues so that the AC ran all night and, he entered a sequence of buttons that allowed him to lower the temperature down to 60 vs. 65. 5 degrees does make a difference.

Long story short, the room cooled down and we all slept through the night without another problem.

My kiddo loved the saltwater pool and his mom enjoyed the jacuzzi.

All in all, it was a nice stay and we're thinking about doing it again for Father's Day. :o)

Room Tip: If your room is hot/warm, call the front desk and ask the engineer to enter their secret AC code. It...

My family and I have been lucky enough to stay a lot of places..... This is home! The staff is courteous, service has that southern hospitality and the atmosphere is comfortable. Because of both the breakfast and the happy hour, the value is unmatched in the area. Grapevine Mills Mall, DFW, Bass Pro Shops and a host of other restaurants and attractions are right next door. Internet fees may be extra.....
