“Another great stay”

Stayed here again in February.

The shuttle was with us in 15 mins which was great. On arrival we were welcomed with a smile and checked in very quickly. I had made a points booking for 4 days but due to system limitations had 4 separate bookings. The receptionist sorted them all out so we had the same room for the whole stay.

The room was spacious with a fridge and microwave. There was a modern TV with plenty of channels. The bathroom had all the bits and bobs needed. The beds were comfortable, with a choice of pillows. There was no noise from the adjoining rooms, although we did have a leaden footed person upstairs. it was not an issue.

Breakfast was plentiful and there was a good choice of items. My daughter loved the pancake maker and had them each day.

The shuttle was great. We used it to go to the mall, target and Wallmart. There was never any issue with where we wanted to go.

The staff were excellent. Joe could not do enough for us, always cheerful and offering suggestion to make our holiday more enjoyable. He even popped up in person to check I was OK, as I have MS and also had a cold.

Miss Victoria, Miss Elizabeth and Miss Carla were always smiling and ready to help.

All in all a very enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Hello all...

I had the pleasure of traveling to Dallas (again) for business. As it was determined to be a busy time, our Dallas business customer service department made a recommendation and (ultimately) the reservations at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Grapevine. With our early evening arrival at KDFW, we called the hotel for their courtesy shuttle and were pleasantly greeted within ten (10) minutes by a wonderful lady from the facility, ensuring us we were only minutes from their/our hotel. Arriving and checking into our rooms was equally as pleasant, with a sincere effort to be prompt. The hotel appeared to be of recent construction (within an area of comparable hotels) and the rooms (not the suites) were neat, clean and appropriately appointed. The developers were smart with their choice of locations, as we experienced absolutely no noticeable airport noise while within our rooms.

A daily hot breakfast was offered at no additional cost and I am pleased to say it offered an extremely diverse selection of both prepared and containerized or dry breakfast foods. The remaining staff were cordial and polite, with a newspaper being left at my doorstep every morning.

Although our employer would never question necessary expenses, my associate and I make every effort to be frugal when traveling for the company. This hotel offers free and unquestioned courtesy transportation within five (5) miles of their facility. We also found the area surrounding the hotel, maintained a good selection of dining facilities.

Great hotel! Great staff! Shuttle transportation worked out perfectly! Never made me feel like I was asking for too much! Always welcomed with smiles! :) The breakfast host, Ana, was very friendly made bkfst a great experience for the kiddos. The kiddos enjoying digging in hotel's treasure box of toys & coloring.

We stay at this hotel any time we visit the Dallas area. It's easy access to major highways and the quaint town of grapevine make it ideal for our family. Close proximity to the airport and the free shuttle are also a huge plus.

The rooms are a great size for the cost and the staff is always friendly, the breakfast is exemplary and the new upgrades to the property make it very desirable. We will stay here again in the near future.

After our first night in the hotel we noticed that the heating/air unit was not functioning well and that the tub did not drain properly. When we left the next day we called these things to the attention of the folks at the front desk. Upon our return we saw the note from maintenance saying they fixed the tub problem but no mention of the heat/air issue. Called the front desk and two ladies came up to "check it out". The problem was that the unit went on BRIEFLY and then turned off and did not start again, and the fan never went on. It was cold in our room. They came up and turned up the thermostat and it went on. "Look, it works!" they said. Despite my explanation they insisted that the unit was working. For the next three days we asked for maintenance and for the next three days we were IGNORED. We were told that service was not available on the weekend and I was treated like kind of idiot. This despite being a PLATINUM member, which means I stay at hotels half the year and am very familiar with how to work the controls on the heat/air units. On the last day of our stay I demanded that the maintenance man come and look at the unit. He came and looked it over and quickly realized that the computer running the unit needed to be reset and he told us that he had never gotten a service ticket for the problem. Checking out I told this to the manager who said she would "check" with him.
I told her to go and see him in our room where he was working on the problem. The front desk clerk told me some time later, while I waited, that they would compensate for the inconvenience.
No apology was ever offered and no explanation of why we were ignored.
A week later I got a note from the manager saying she was sorry and would add bonus points to my account. Problem, she addressed me by the WRONG NAME. Come on, you cannot even read and use the guests name? I have no idea where the supposed bonus points went. Probably to the some other guest.
Service here is lazy and inconsiderate. Stay someplace else where they pay attention.

We stayed here in November prior to flying out to Japan. The hotel was clean and the room comfortable. Bedding is very pillowy and relaxing...all the standard ammenities in the room, hair dryer, wi-fi/internet, coffee maker, etc.. Shuttle to the airport leaves every 30 minutes, and they offer extended parking for only $33.00 for up to two weeks! Which is a much better option than extended parking at the airport for $33 a night! Wonderful service/wonderful stay!!

My partner and I were stranded in Dallas overnight last night and were helped out in finding transport and accommodations overnight by Michelle and Neo. They were both SO incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped us find food and even helped get us some toiletries, which were all in our checked luggage. The hotel and rooms were immaculate, and having breakfast ready and waiting when we got up after our 5 hours of sleep before running back to the airport was perfection.
They made a cruddy situation WAY WAY better.
