“Not worth the price”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

Whoever designed the space did a TERRIBLE job! Most attractions are only for children, which leaves crowds of adults standing around in tiny spaces waiting for their kids. There is not nearly enough seating so if you don't mind standing around- in awkwardly over-crowded spaces- this is the place for you!

Now let's talk about the Legos. Go visit a Lego store and your kid will have more fun, plus the stores are free to walk into- unlike this place. The Princess Palace is a joke. There are 3 lego tables with about 20 large legos at each one. Then there's a stage with a karaoke screen- so if your toddler can read it might hold their attention for a few minutes. Otherwise, the Princess Palace is a total waste of time.

The space where kids design their own lego cars and race them is extremely small and overcrowded. Be prepared to lose sight of your child on a constant basis and then not be able to squeeze through the hoardes of people standing around waiting when your child runs off through a small break in the crowd.

The kids all had fun, but for the adults it was a bit of a nightmare. Definitely not worth the price to ever go again.

Hi and thank you for your comments for our attraction.

We are very sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your visit, but are pleased to hear that your kids had fun.

We do tend to be very busy during our peak times, in particular summer, often selling out. This in turn makes the attraction very busy, and we apologize for the inconvenience this may cause any of our guests.

We do have 12 interactive features at our attraction, including 3 interactive rides, a play area, free building and more. We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy Princess Palace. We appreciate your feedback and take all of our guests feedback very seriously.

Again, we are happy to hear your children had fun, but apologize for any inconvenience the adults may have experienced.

“Great for small children.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2014

The place was fun, but crowded. Too many "big" kids. The movies were fun, as were the automated rides.

“Don't think we'll be back”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2014

My lego-loving son enjoyed his time here, but it was complete chaos. They rush you through certain activities and the lines can be horrendous because of how many people are there at once. The giant play area in the middle has a height restriction - for our family it didn't work out. My daughter was too short, so she would have had to sit and watch the other kids play (including her brother). I felt the admission price was quite high for what was offered.

Hi and thank you for your review.

We are glad to hear that your son enjoyed his experience. During our peak times, especially summer, we do see large crowds daily. Our lines tend to be longer and the attraction tends to be a little more crowded.

We do encourage our guests to visit the attractions page of our website to review the height and age restrictions. This will help better manage the guest experience.

Again, we are glad to hear that your son enjoyed his experience and hope to see you again soon.

“Good for young children”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

I was really glad we visited this year. My son is 9 and will be over a lot of the height limits by next year.

We bought the first time slot of the day and I think that was the right idea. We ended up first in and beat the crowds for some of the activities. The way I understand it, they only allow people to buy tickets for a time slot so people in line for tickets when we got there were buying tickets for later in the afternoon. After you are in you can stay as long as you like.

We bought our tickets online which I suggest both for convenience and price.

They start with a factory tour. This is very focused on small children. They receive a factory tour lego at the conclusion.

Following this, you have the run of the place. There is a shooting laser gun ride, a go-kart type ride and a play zone. A Princess Palace area we didn't go into and a Duplo area we also didn't visit. Also, a racers building and racing area.

Our favorite part was the 4D movie. We were actually misted with water and ice during the show when the fire hose got loose and when I've chips were being shot at a rock monster. We'd never been to a show like that so it was pretty neat.

We did enjoy our visit, but won't be back since my son will be too tall soon. I recommend this for families with children 8 and under.

“Legoland was fun for the kids.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014 via mobile

My sister and I took our granddaughters and they all had a good time. I wouldn't pay extra for the add-on for $4.50. A group of cards attached to a lanyard. They said it would enhance their time but it was nothing but cards that you stamp when you finish the activity. The kids didn't get it and did nothing with it. What a waste if money.
