“A nice, small operation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

This is a typical family operated, small Mexican restaurant, menu is good, but not extensive and worth a visit for a casual Mexican meal.

“Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2014

This is the go to Mexican restaurant for my family. We have eaten here for years for all different occasions and the food is always good.

“Where the locals and the college kids like to go”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2013

It is, you might say, a hole in the wall. Tiny, old, and usually very good TexMex.
Service can vary from good to average. In many, many visits, I've never had bad service.
Can be a bit warm inside, but personally I'll endure it to get authentic good food. The side window is open to 1 for breakfast tacos and to go plates. Inexpensive. Parking can be full at times, to rear of cafe. NOTE: The trip advisor photo is not correct for this location.

“Filling Edible Meal”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

I decided to stop here because I was hungry, and this place was crowded. It took a while for someone to take my order because the wait staff consisted of two people on a busy Saturday morning. I ordered the dried beef with eggs. The eggs were scrambled with dried beef, onions, peppers, and tomatoes. The dish came with refried beans, potatoes, and tortillas. The egg dish was ok, but the refried beans were too runny. The place is drab and shabby, but clean. There is a window on the outside where people walk up to place take-out orders. Neither the food nor the restaurant is memorable.

“THE BEST OF THE BEST!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 24, 2013

Obviously you guys have no taste!! I grew up in this town for about 15 years and I still continue to go there. I even work at another Mexican restaurant && that place is no good && I give el charrito "a 10 a 10 a f****n 10" in my varsity blues voice!!! I will not eat anywhere else! The employees there are awesome...maybe if you didn't treat them rudely you would get the service you expected. I grew up in this town so I know how this town functions. Dos salsas, patron which is no longer there for a reason are all crap!!! Go charrito, see you Saturday!!!
