We enjoyed our stay for 5 days and 4 nights. The view was amazing. The staff was very attentive to our needs when requisting services. My only problem was with the refrigerator when did not keep items cold and it froze over twice during the stay, need to be replaced or repaired. Carpet needs replacing. More seals around the door to keep wind from howling during high winds other than that it was fine.

when I came to check in the front desk service provider named Deana gave me problems about my room that already that had been paid one night was paid by credit card and other night in cash these payments were made at least three to four weeks in advance I went through a lot of trouble of approx. 3o min. it was degrading in the presence of others in hotel lobby. We rented 3220. We did not get to see the place before renting. If we had we wouldn't have wasted our money. We got in and had to clean the pubic hair out of the bathroom sink, wipe the crud off the sink surface and the kitchen counter. The stove was dirty with caked food. Stains on the carpet. Towels dirty. There was pubic hair in the bed, and the pillow had an impression in it. Obviously not changed since the last person. Non-smoking unit - cigarette burns on furniture and we about aphixiated when we walked in due to smoke smell.Why should we have to clean a place prior to staying? No refunds? Rip off. Security guard? Was there when we checked in, not when we left 1/2 hour later. Gate open. Don't waste your money. Absolute filty place. Should be condemned.

We arrived on Friday night a little late, from the website what we were expecting and what we got was not the same! The reviews online were all great. We stayed the weekend to attend the nutcraker ballet at the grand. The room had a weird smell when we arrived. The furniture is extremely outdated! We were expecting friends the second night so asked for a room that could accommodate 4 adults, and 2 children, the room we received was to small to allow that so our friends drove home. There was a bunk bed built into the hallway. The pool was nice it was heated. We did find various bugs in the room throughout of stay. The patio was large with a view what was the point. I am spraying of stuff for bedbugs just in case. I did mention to the front desk about the broken burner in the kitchen, the burnt out light bulbs, I asked the girl at the front if our room is the same as everyone else's she said that the owners just put the rooms in a rental pool. While why not make sure everything works before we check in. Considering that we made the reservations in October I really expected better. For the same amount of money there are nicer hotels in galveston, I posted pictures.
