“A Small Jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2014

A lovely little place out on the East End. A highly selective menu, which my friends tell me is excellent down the board. The chef takes some care with it. My meal was excellent throughout, with a desert that surprised the folks next to me. Service is friendly and competent, though a bit short-handed the night I was there. Atmosphere is both classy and casual. Let's wait and see if they finish the ceiling....
When I say little and small I mean it. Not many tables if the deck is closed, so reserve ahead.
One nice touch: Though it's on the second floor, for we disabled people there's an elevator to the right of the stairs and thru the little white gate. Very thoughtful--as, it seems, is everything here.

“Great find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2014

It's really good. Went in for brunch Sunday. Instead of writing a long detailed review, I'll just say that it's a wonderful atmosphere, great service and I will go back. However, when Beachtown becomes more developed and populated, you won't be able to get into this place. So you better try it now!

“Best burger in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Ambience is 'island casual' and it's particularly nice to sit outside on the porch when the weather allows. Wait staff are excellent and the food is superb. Have had fish done 'just right,' and love the burger made with wygrus beef and served on a toasted ciabatta roll. I get the burger with bleu cheese which is melted on it [lots of cheeses to choose from]. Honestly haven't had a disappointing meal there.

“Great food and Atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

This restaurant is owned by a Galveston Chef who does a great job with food. High quality and well presented. He is heavy handed with the spice but that is a plus in my book. The atmosphere is very good and it is in a great place. In good weather, the huge gallery will be a wonderful place to dine! It's only open Thursday through Sunday Brunch. It's value for price. Not cheap but not cost prohibitive either.
Good wine list my party tells me.
