“Glad we went”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2014

After checking out the reviews, my son and I tried The Spot for dinner. The menu had something for us both. The prices were more reasonable than I expected. I paid $7.75 for the burger of the month which was a huge Italian sausage patty on a bun with 3 slices of fresh mozzarella melted on top covered in marinara with a few olives and lettuce, I added red onion at the condiment bar. Yummy but I could not even eat half! My son also enjoyed his burger. $20.00 total including drinks.

“Great Burgers”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

This is a very nice restaurant and with a great view of the beach also. The various burgers are large and very good, The best part is that they have a condiment bar, which includes various peppers, relish pickles various onion slices, salsas, and more. The onion rings are very flakey and the waffle fries are wonderful.

“Family friendly ”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 25, 2014

We visited the spot for lunch. There is plenty of outdoor seating that overlooks the gulf. It is a loud atmosphere that is perfect for families. We tried the fish tacos as well as the steak tacos. Both were excellent.

“A Great Time”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2014

If you're in Galveston, chances are, you've seen The Spot. It's a great location and there's something for everyone...a bar, a lounge, burger joint and bakery/ice cream shop. The burgers were amazing and fried pickles weren't bad either!! The wait is often long but it's worth it!

“Frozen Meat...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

Stopped by for the first time in many years. Now I know why I go to Café Michael Burger at the end of the seawall (1/2 mile down west beach) or Sonny's. This place has everything going for it except they serve tasteless frozen meat and refrigerated tomatoes even in June in Texas. No excuse for produce to be in fridge this time of year...takes all the flavor out of it...Location is great of course, however the upper deck has little kids that always want to "Feed" the birds...bad idea...poop everywhere and clueless parents ignore signs...Fuddruckers copy cat is to be avoided !
