We went to diner there today. Here is a summary:
Pros: bathrooms were very clean
Cons: long waiting for staff, bad service all the way, drinks were very watery and my mango mojito was full of sugar, color and I could even taste the mint. I had to send it back and request something else; the waiter offered to correct that, but it came back just the same, he just added a few more mint leaves! Or food was not that bad it's just overpriced, but I have been in many rainforest cafes before and I knew that, however the couple sitting next to our table, with a child they had the experience of their life. The gentleman was eating his chicken and kept saying to his wife that something tasted funny. He took a few bites and lo and behold, a large piece of chicken had plastic inside and out all over! I don't know how this man did not choke on it! It could be worse, his child could have been the one to eat it and not know how to spit it out on time to avoid suffocation! I was horrified! "managers" came to talk to him but all they wanted was the piece of chicken he had choked on. He was smart enough to keep it, and take pictures. I smell a law suit, but the ultimate outrage was that neither one of these "managers" offered any kind of compensation for their awful fault, they actually made him pay in full, no discount or freebie offering! I am still outraged with the whole thing but I would not recommend eating at this rain forest I believe they are not up to the level of the other restaurants in the chain.
