“Not Too Bad For Older Kids, However For Younger Children, A Bit Pricey”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Overall the place is just average when considering the amount of rides and the prices. It is about $27 per person to be on all the rides all day. If you have little ones, they will only be able to ride a few of the attractions, so it may not be worth it. No matter what, even if you do not go on any of the rides, you still have to pay $10 per adult or $8 per child, with no rides. I just do not understand why this is the case if you cant ride the attractions. There are no "free" things to do. Its unfortunate, because if you want to just let the kids ride, you still have to pay extra money. Then of course if you want food or play games, then it is extra. Expect the typical carnival or amusement park prices for those things.
The park itself is very clean and has plenty of people working to assist with questions. The staff are all friendly as well.
If you are gonna just have some teenagers stay there all day, then it is probably worth it. However, if not I may go against it.
One thing to keep in mind, they do offer a military discount, but you have to ask and show your ID.

“Too pricey!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

The place is clean, and what rides they have are good, but you could easily spend a day at Six Flags for just a couple of dollars more and ride 10 times the quantity of rides they have there. Very strict about rules here too. Not that it's a bad thing...

“Fun and safe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

Pleasure Pier was clean, safe, and fun! My only negative feedback are the prices but it's still comparable to most theme parks. There was a very short line for most rides with little to no wait time on a weekday.

“dont miss it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

we had a great time at the pleasure pier. the kids had a great time on all the rides! this is definitely the best attraction in Galveston. the lines were short for the rides and the kids enjoyed each ride. the pier is especially beautiful at night with all the rides, we also ate at the BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP COMPANY on the pier and the food was delicious.

“Rude People and too pricey”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

The employees were very rude. Prices to get in we're outrageous. Just not enough to do to justify the high price. Would not go again.
