“Tour a WWII Submarine”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

This is the first time I was able to actually walk through a submarine. Seeing how the crew lived gives you a new appreciation as to what our guys endured.
However, the escort destoyer , which is also in the park, is not fully opened to the public yet.
Go in the morning when the temperatures are cooler.

“Great to see two ships together, but still a work in progress.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2012

A good display of two old naval vessels. Sat down in the submarine and watched the restoration work that has been done through the years. Still needs work, but is a good stop. Could use more displays explaining some of the history. Would like to be able to climb over more parts of the ships.
The engineering spaces on the USS Stewart, the conning tower on the USS Cavella. Maybe they can get the periscope in operating order also to be displayed.

“Good history lesson, but not in summer”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

The submarine and destroyer were fun to look around in and they are doing a good job preserving, but it was so hot that we really didn't stay as long as we thought we would. Would be fun to go back on a cooler day.

“Seawolf Park”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Went to Seawolf Park, $5 to get in to park, then have to pay another $5 just to get on the ship and sub. Not much else to see there. The museum/visitor center was destroyed and is not open. Probably cause of the hurricane. Overall not worth the visit to this park.
