“Interesting Info on Oil Platforms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2013

We went yesterday to the museum as I wanted more info on oil platforms and how drilling takes place. This is a good way to learn more about it. It's not that large but has 3 floors of exhibits and displays that explain the whole process. There is a short video you'll want to see and then wander and learn. It's good way to spend an hour.

“Interesting, inexpensive, and informative!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

Visited the museum with my college student son. We both found the displays interesting. The short film was well worth seeing- maybe not for someone familiar with the industry, but we definitely learned a lot from it.

This is very informative attraction. There are a few things for the kids. It does not take long to go through it.

“interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

This museum had much more to offer than I had thought it would. It explained every step of off shore drilling and the uses for all the oil and gas. It was very well done and easy to understand and I found it very interesting.

“For folks not very familiar with Offshore Oil Drilling”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2013

First up, I worked in this industry my entire career (now retired)...so not much about this museum was new to me. But for people (and especially kids) who have an interest, this was a good representation of the entire process (i.e., how oil is produced by the earth, the discovery/dirlling process, production, etc.), Probably will not need more than an hour to cover it all (including a short movie). Plus a great view of the sea-port and plenty to eat in the area. Skip all the paid parking (really a rip-off)...plenty of free parking a block or two away.
