hotel was in a perfect location. right across from the beach and right next door to the grocery store. We came down on the island to enjoy our anniversary and we had a great time. The young man at the front desk made some awesome dinner recommendations and the staff treated us very well. we had an issue with the internet but the front desk brought us a chord in just minutes. check in was quick and check out was too. koddos to the beach front palms hotel.

We had are van broke into & they told us they had extra security. But they said tape was to grainy to see who did it. Not willing to make it good so if you stay there don't leave your car. They do not take responsibility for break ins.

We spent one night here before leaving on a cruise the next day. Check in was quick and easy - (we had booked through hotels.com). The receptionist gave us a coupon for a free appetizer at Landry's (which we forgot to use). For some reason we ended up in a handicapped room which was interesting because we have no disabilities (unless you consider being over 60 a disability). The clothing racks were about half height but given that we weren't unpacking, it really wasn't an issue. I'm not sure that the bathroom was really disability-friendly, but the towel rack kept falling on the floor when you removed a towel. (We weren't jerking them off the towel rack; we were being gentle.) After putting it back up twice we just left it on the floor. When we first arrived there was water on the bathroom floor, not sure why because I threw a towel down to mop it up and if it had been a leak, it would have reappeared, and it did not. The breakfast was too crowded so we walked down to IHOP which was also too crowded. A bit disappointing that none of the rooms have sea views. But our car was safe (which is more than I can say for the Hotel Galvez where my car was vandalized and they refused to be responsible for it) and I would stay here again the next time we cruise, although I don't think I'd want to spend more than one night here. The location is good - across from the seawall and a short walk to Landry's and the Rainforest Cafe.
