“If you love airplanes.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

My husband is in the aerospace industry, so this was like my good shopping for him. I went along and while it is not my thing, it was still a neat place with a lot to see. The gift shop was great and if we had the information ahead of time, he could have picked a special plane ride ( for a fee of course) any of the Moody Gardens shuttles will take you if you ask. Parking is not a problem with the shuttles and you can see more that way.

“Still love this place, great to come back and see what's new that they have restored.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

This is a family favorite, year after year. It was badly damaged in Ike, but each year, something new is being restored and it is slowly getting back to it's former glory. The kids love looking at the planes, and my husband could spend hours in here. Keep up the good work Lone Star!!!

“Interesting must see”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2012

It appears that many of their displays were severly damaged during Hurricane Ike. However, they have done an admirable job restoring it. Keep in mind that most workers there are volunteers. They have some excellent aircraft in flying condition as well as ongoing restoration work. The place is reasonably priced and worth a couple hours.

“Always interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

If you like airplanes and history, you've got to go. I always save time for a visit when I am in town. Was nearly wiped out by a hurricane a few years ago, but its back in fine form again.
