“Great Family Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2012

This hotel is perfect for families. The location is easy to get to and Stonebriar Mall is just across the street. This was our fourth trip to the area for a lacrosse tournament and we choose to stay here even though there were options closer to our tournament location because we enjoy this hotel so much. Our coach called and worked with the hotel directly to set up a group rate which was a nice savings. The indoor pool was fun for the boys after a long day at the pool and the manager's reception is a nice way for the parents to relax. Although it is not listed on the menu they have a burger on the kids menu through room service that includes an adult size burger, fries and a drink for around $5 if you don't feel like getting out for dinner. If you do feel like getting out but don't feel like driving they have a free shuttle available.

Room Tip: The rooms on the higher levels with a view of Dr. Pepper ball park and a balcony are a lot of fun.

Stayed for work for a night and I was impressed. Rooms are large and clean and staff is friendly. Decent breakfast buffet and there is a happy hour that I did not get to take advantage of. Nice location across from a mall and walking distance to the dr pepper stadium.

I loved the location, the kind staff members, the clean room. The breakfast was good, I did not have a chance to enjoy the afternoon courtesy hour due to some meetings but they were nice to offer. The gym was OK, missing some parts for the lifting machine, but overall well maintained and clean.

Again, for a business stay is a great option, I would stay there again for sure!

Nice clean hotel. Heat and air system leaves a lot to be desired. One extreme or the other. Limited healthy choices at included breakfast. Fresh fruit consisted of melon and oranges. Convenient to shopping and restaurants.

The hotel is laid out just like every Embassy Suites with the lobby, breakfast area and room layouts. There were no surprises as far as cleanliness and upkeep - all in keeping with what you expect from Embassy Suites (which charges a premium for that).

Was there as part of a large meeting and the service/support they provided was not good at all. The staff was not particularly helpful - if I followed their advice for a running route I would have been on the highway. There are some nice restaurants within walking distance, but you couldn't tell by what the staff was willing to share.

There are a number of nice hotels in the Frisco area, I think the ES has a big head since they're right next to the Convention Center. Find another one and walk 10 minutes - you'll be happy for it.

I am very sorry we were not able to provide you with the quality of services you deserve. This is not typical of our hotel and staff, and we are sorry we let the ball drop. We are always looking for ways to improve our guest experience. Your satisfaction is very important to us and we try hard to make sure all of our guests have a rewarding stay. Thank you again for your feedback and we hope you will consider giving us another chance.

We spent three nights here on the occasion of a friend's wedding. Embassy Suites, Frisco is very comfortable, has a decent swimming pool(you can do laps if you're not fussy over turns), a compact workout center, a free breakfast and a friendly accommodating staff. It is located across the road from a high end shopping mall which also features a large cinema complex. There are a number of quality restaurants in the area including Edoko, a Japanese eatery featuring sushi that surpasses any we have found on both coasts.

A very satisfactory hotel.

The hotel is very nice, the bed very comfortable. We did not have reservations & the original hotel we wanted was full.
We were starving when we arrived & went to the restaurant after checking in. We ordered the 16 oz tomahawk - it was one of the worst steaks we've ever had. It tasted like they pulled it out of the freezer & dropped it on a grill. It was over cooked (we ordered medium rare) & had no seasoning. The cut of meat was pathetic & it definately was not 16 oz.
We went out to eat for breakfast because we weren't wasting our calories on the free breakfast when the $25+ steak was so awful.
Love that they have a parking garage.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback on your stay at the 4-Diamond Embassy Suites Dallas-Frisco. While we appreciate your positive comments on the hotel, we were most disturbed by your experience in our restaurant. We are often recognized by our guests with very positive comments about our food, and when we saw your review on our steak we addressed the situation immediately. We have re-sourced the quality of our steaks to guarantee they are top grade, properly portioned, and not frozen. Our cooks have been retrained on proper preparation to maximize flavor and temperature. We now believe we once again have the best steaks in the area. Thank you again for your feedback.
