“Will Always Return!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

This hotel is an older hotel but its always clean and comfortable. If your on a budget this is the place to stay, its quite affordable. breakfast is good. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. The location is great, its not on the main drag but still not far from downtown. When we travel to Fredericksburg this is the place we always stay.

The hotel's location is great. It's a mile from Main St., so its a great walk on a beautiful day. The front desk staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. It is an older hotel but rooms are clean and breakfast was average.

What a crap hotel, not only filthy but to have thieves working there. Well as the house keeper Alma said " I raised her..and she has her own things" meaning the daughter she raised to steal my daughter's tablet... sad you would be proud to say that is what you raised..and you forgot to mention she also has my daughter's things!

There is literally stains running down from the light switches, the floors were so dirty my daughter was complaining, and inch or more of dust under/around the tv. The stairs in the main building leading to the breakfast has a layer of dust, and the door leading to the employee only area was covered in old food stains and spills.
Oh, and you have to show them all of your electronics at check in or they will tell you, and this is from the owner, "You can't prove you ever brought anything with you to the hotel" The OWNER encourages theft from his employees!!

Room Tip: It would be better to stay in a tent, it would be cleaner and safer.

This hotel was the worst that I have ever stayed at! Everything in the room was filthy, with dust everywhere, dirt piled high in every corner, dirt all over the bed (pretty sure they didn't really change the sheets) and although they claim they vacuum, the carpet was caked in dirt! The one time I saw the owner, he looked half asleep behind the counter, completely unwelcoming, and the other "manager "wasn't even behind the desk when we went looking for him, he was sitting in the lounge area on his computer! But the worst part about this nasty place is that although the house keeping can not seem to see the dust and dirt they left covering the room, they sure can find important items that you accidently left and don't miss a chance to steal from you! My family has never dealt with such unprofessional people in our lives, the owner refused to even have a real conversation with us and kept saying that we had no solid proof so he wouldn't do anything to help! Again if I had a choice, I would choose to sleep in my car or on the streets than EVER stay here again!!!

Room Tip: Any room that isn't in the hotel!!

Regrettably I delayed making reservations on our annual Thanksgiving weekend trip to Fredericksburg and this hotel turned out trip into a nightmare. We arrived at 3:45pm and I was met by a young lady on at the desk who had terrible BO. I could smell her from across the service desk. We weren't expecting much given the price and hotel chain, but the room was filthy. Cobwebs in the corners, dirty mirror, coffee maker looked as if it wasn't cleaned in months. The "free breakfast" was awful as well. No Wi-Fi in the hotel. What was worst of all though, we realized shortly after checking out that my daughter's tablet was accidently left behind. We called the manager and then drove back to the hotel. Of course, housekeeping claimed it wasn't in the room. The manager refused to give us the names of the housekeepers on duty and so we had to file a police report.

Room Tip: Do not stay here!

Got in town late -- looked good from outside. Had already unloaded car & too tired to pack up & look for another room. The dirt behind night stands looked like lint trap from your dryer. Coffee maker dirty-- bathroom extremely small & dirty. Bed linens old & rough. Worst motel I have ever seen-- didn't even want to use shower in the morning.

Pretty tired place. We were late booking for the festival and had poor choices. Old school 2 double beds, tired linen, threadbare blankets. Tiny bathroom. Would be a place of last resort for sure. As with all hotels of this type, about the only thing you can do is to stay on the top floor so car lights don't blast into your room.

Room Tip: Not sure if there are any, all the rooms have a door to the outside.
