“One of my favorite places with strange new rules”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Took a large group for lunch and they would not let us move tables or give us separate checks. These are new rules which didn't settle well with our party. The avocado soup and sampler sandwich was great but don't eat the apricot fried pie. Service was great.

“Apricot Fried Pies”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

Dined in the Peach Tree Tea Room, Fredericksburg, TX. last week. I ordered the Tom. Soup and Quiche. Very good, so thought the fried pies would be good. Crust was tough and tasted old. Could have not been made in the restaurant. Cost was too expensive for the pie.

“Don't order the Fried Pies.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

The food was excellent but three of our group ordered the Fried Pies. All could not eat them, they were so tough. Not wanting to make a scene in the group they did not voice their dislike. One brought it home where we all tasted it and yes...it was the worse you have ever had. Who ever makes their pies needs to be FIRED.

“cosy and sweet”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2013

We were staying near Fredericksburg for a long weekend and were very happy to find this place while walking through the historical part. It is very nice and cost and their peach pie is just wonderful! I wish I could get a recipe!

“Good but not great.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013 via mobile

Difficult to review--some things very good and some things very ordinary. The quiche was outstanding, but the avocado soup was deeply disappointing. The soup had a dreadful texture (almost as thick as library paste) and a very muddled, non-distinctive flavor. Dessert was very good, even though the peach ice cream pie wasn't available. The overall menu is very limited and not very interesting. We have never been to Fredericksburg before, so we cannot compare this to other places in town.
