This is probably the best place to eat in Fredricksberg right now. The atmosphere is quaint. The service is good (not awesome but certainly not bad).
I started with a pheasant and sausage chowder that was unique and incredibly tasty. My wife had the surf-n-turf which is a grilled fillet and coconut shrimp combo. The fillet was excellent - very heavily seasoned (which can be overpowering unless you like that kind of thing). The coconut shrimp was a unique combination of hot and sweet (we both really liked it). I tried the chicken-fried rib-eye topped with lobster and ancho-chili gravy. It was too crazy to pass up, and it was well worth it. The flavors all worked together perfectly.
We are not wine drinkers, but for those who are, the list is huge with many local selections. The deserts were good if not a little "average" after everything else.
