We had reservations for 7:00 pm on a Saturday during our weekend in Fredericksburg. I did not know there was outdoor seating or I would have requested it. As it was, we sat inside and it was fine. Our server was very knowledgeable and attentive, and the food was delicious. I had the "surf and turf" which was a tenderloin steak with coconut shrimp. It came with mashed potatoes (heavenly) and green beans. It was a lot of food as the five shrimp were huge. Hubby got the pork tenderloin with mashed sweet potatoes. Other than the shrimp, which I thought were just OK, everything was delicious. Hubby got the pork belly buns appetizer which he liked. I'm not a huge pork belly fan so I just made do with the delicious house bread and butter. Overall a very nice meal. With tip, a beer and a glass of wine, the bill was around $80.
The restaurant is very quaint and has a nice ambience. We stopped and got a $1 fish food and fed the fish in the pond after dinner.
