We did enjoy our stay at the Front Porch but there were a few things that could be improved. It was relatively clean but the front room furniture could use a cleaning or be replaced. The front door had a large space between the door and threshhold that bothered me as I don't like creepy, crawly things like snakes. It was in a good location, however, - near to downtown but yet fairly quiet. There was some traffic on the street but didn't seem too bothersome. Guess the main complaint was the sign saying that occupants should take good care of the very expensive bed ensemble. We did take it off and lay it on the front room furniture. Luckily, we both were ready to go to bed at the same time as, otherwise, there would have been no place to lay it. I think a $3,000 bed ensemble is out of place there - I would have been more comfortable with something a little less fancy and not so delicate. Overall, a good experience. Oh, one more thing - the voucher for breakfast was fine but, really, $12 for 2 people! A bit chintzy considering at other bed and breakfasts, you get wonderful breakfasts!
