“Get a window table”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Just sit by the window and watch people walk on main street while you sip their wonderful coffee. Their food is great too.

“Favorite Breakfast Stop in Fredericksburg”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

I love this place! They have excellent murals on every wall that is actual art, unlike many large-scale murals in commercial buildings. If facing the entrance, look to the wall on the right to see one painting that includes a girl who, if memory serves, is a waitress in an setting from long ago surrounded by lots of men. The detail work & lighting on her face is amazing. To the left, there is a working windmill blade incorporated into the mural. Not my style of art at all, but very well executed. Oh - this is a restaurant, not a gallery . . . excellent coffee!. They make it however you like it, and have soy & coconut milk for those who don't use dairy - don't often find this in smaller towns. Tons of flavors/add-ons - you name it, they can make it. Lots of little pastries that are fairly well done, but the coffee & the ambience is the reason to go. Wouldn't be a Fredericksburg trip without a stop by this little gem!

“Breakfast plate was good!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Other than a variety of coffees and pastries, they do serve a traditional breakfast plate. It's nothing extraordinary, but was good.

“Great Coffee even better pastries”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Just ran in for a quick mocha to go, it had to be one of the best I have ever had. While waiting to order I spied an apple turnover, so i got that as well, I only got one bite as my wife gobbled the rest down gleefully. Service was friendly. The mural on the wall was fascinating.

“If you want really good coffee . . .”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

They got it. Always freshly made and with fresh half-and-half served in an easy pour thermos . . . none of those blasted little plastic cups of "no need to refrigerate" half-and-half. And certainly never any sign of horrible non-dairy creamer/whitener. Ugh!

Baked goods to accompany your coffee are good. But maybe skip the breakfast dishes of eggs and bacon, etc. if you don't relish eating on a paper plate and eggs that are in real need of seasoning.

Service is friendly and the wall murals are worth the visit just to admire them. The place is always busy with both locals and visitors to town.
