One great thing about Fredericksburg is the Main Street. There are all sorts of food establishments, bars, wine destinations.. but where do we end up.. a brewery. Or at least that's what happens to us. After a pint or so at a few other locations, we were starving and was trying to make our way to an italian place which the bartender had recommended. We never made it. Instead, we ducked into the Fredericksburg Brewery.
We were really hungry and managed to snag a place up at the bar. We were greeted by a wonderful bartender who gave us a big smile and some menu's. Not really wanting sammies or german type of food, we opted for the spinach artichoke pizza instead. The beer was very tasty, Enchanted Rock Red Ale had just right about of hoppiness. It had been a pretty long day so we got the rest of our pie to go. It was even better in the morning. Garlicly hang over cure!
Definitely will make it our first stop next time we are in town. Had a nice vibe.
