“Very nice and clean- nothing exceptional though”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

We are here for Valentine;s Day weekend. The added some extra special touches... a candy bar in the lobby with sweet treats. Staff is very friendly and helpful. AVEDA brand toiletries. Rooms are larger than average. 40 places to eat within walking distance.

“Great Location, Great Town, but at best "average"”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

The Worthington is in one of the best locations in Fort Worth, right next to Sundance Square. The hotel is actually very nice, however, service is absolutely abysmal.

1) Check in was fine, though they could not locate either reservation (we had two rooms). I had to pull the reservations off of the Marriott.com website.
2) No recognition of loyalty or status. I had to ask if the hotel had a lounge available, and the answer was "yes", but no offer of location.
3) Visited the lounge during "open" hours, and found no one there, and nothing open (no honor bar). After Friday, papers were not replaced.
4) Weekend room cleaning was ridiculous. We left the hotel at 10AM. At 5PM, upon returning to the room, the room had still not been cleaned. Housekeeping finally showed up at 5:40PM.

On the plus side, the hotel did deliver fruit, wine and cheese to the room the first night, unannounced.

Room Tip: Request a room overlooking Sundance Square.

“Very Nice Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

I went to this hotel for a business conference and was very impressed with it. From a meeting perspective, it was well laid out, excellent lunches and refreshments during the conference, and well organized. The rooms were really beautiful with high quality bedding, a very nice sized room with excellent furnishings and fixtures. The location is wonderful with great restaurants and night life within walking distance. Fort Worth is a nice town and I would highly recommend it for business or personal travel.

“Great location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Typical Marriott hotel in a great location. The rooms are fairly large compared to most and the restaurant/room service food is very good. The meeting space is nice and they have a nice board room you can use for meetings.

“Very Nice Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

Stayed here for New Year's Eve. Very cool, inviting lobby area, great check-in experience. I booked three rooms for us and two other couples. As a result, we asked for and were upgraded to a beautiful corner one bedroom suite which we used as a hospitality suite. Very courteous, attentive staff, accommodated all requests quickly and graciously. We had a very pleasant New Year's Eve dinner in downtown Ft. Worth, where everything is within walking distance (Ferre`, check it out) and returned to a jammin' band in the upstairs lounge. Very satisfying stay! Would definitely return.
