“Good, Convenient, and Historical”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

We stayed at the Hilton for the Fort Worth Lighting ceremonies, just after the Kennedy Anniversary. JFK stayed here the night before he was assassinated, so there were a lot of historical pictures etc. The hotel is just a few blocks from Sundance Square, easy walking distance. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable. Be aware that the hotel has no parking, and the valet costs $25. However, parking meters on eighth street are free at night and weekends.

Room Tip: Higher is quieter

Thank you for staying with us recently and for taking time to review your stay. We are glad you stayed with us while attending the lighting of Christmas Tree in Sundance Square. We are all pleased that Sundance has been revitilized! This coming Friday- the city will host the annual Holiday Parade of Lights- should be a great event as well. As you mentioned the hotel is an ideal location to many restaurants, night life and of course Sundance. Thank you for your comments regarding your hotel accommodations. The hotel does offer valet parking only, I apologize that you were not aware. Thank you again and Happy Holidays. Dave Fulton VP and General Manager. dave.fulton@hilton.com

We stayed two nights here at the Hilton Fort Worth and we were very impressed with the hotel overall. What I did not llike was the stale cigarette smell that seemed to hang in the air. Not sure why since this whole hotel is supposed to be non smoking. Everything was very clean and the bed was so comfy! I loved the location. We took the train from OKC to Fort Worth and the hotel was in walking distance from the the train station. Lots of restaurants within walking distance also. I thought the hotel was a bit overpriced, but was apparently right in line with everything else in this area. I would recommend it!

Thank you for staying with us recently and for taking time to review your stay. Numerous guests take the train from Oklahoma- great train trip and you indicated we are walking distance from the train station. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us from the great location of the hotel to your accommodations. I apologize for the stale cigarette smell- we have been none for about a year and half. If you can provide your number it would appreciated so wee can address. Thank you again and Happy Holidays- Dave Fulton VP and General Manager. dave.fulton@hilton.com

I travel twice a year on business from Birmingham to Ft. Worth for Trade Maket Conventions and have stayed at this Hotel several times. Each and every time the week long stay is always made most enjoyable by the entire staff. This particular stay I had a critical overnight delivery and the front desk treated this like it was the only thing on their duty list. I was notified on my cell phone immediatley when the package arrived and saved a most embarrasing business situation. Terry my favorite Bellman and Jackie / Papa Mike of front lobby staff are always a delight to see when you arrive and each and every day when you come in from a long day on the Convention floor. Can not imagine to make reservations anywhere else.

This was a lovely hotel, the quality and the staff really make you feel like they care about you and your stay. Would recommend to anyone traveling through! The historic JFK element is nice (though melancholy) as well.

Thank you for staying with us recently and for taking time to review your stay with us. I sincerely appreciate your kind words regarding our staff, the historic nature of the hotel and your overall experience. We are hopeful you had a chance to visit the new JFK Tribute in front of hotel. It will be 50 years ago that JFK and Jackie visited Fort Worth and stayed in our hotel--we often say "A Moment in Time and Place in History." Thank you again and we hope you will stay with us again in the future. Dave Fulton VP and General Manager. dave.fulton@hilton.com

The hotel's staff was excellent. The room and overall furnishings were very nice. The amenities could have been a little better. The shampoo, conditioner and soap were pretty run-of the mill and nt my favorite.

This was our second stay at the Ft. Worth Hilton in the past nine months. Once again, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Our room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff was outstanding. All of the staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. Jackie, the concierge, is the best. Through the car service, Country Transportation Services, that Jackie arranged for us, we were able to go to Dallas to visit the Bush Presidential Library and the Dallas Museum of Art. Every morning there are a variety of newspapers at the front desk as well as in the Executive Lounge. The Executive Lounge is absolutely "the best" of all the Hiltons in the US. Breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon, sausages, breads, and cereals. The evening cocktail hour always had hot hor dorves as well as cheese and crackers, fruit, and vegetables. The food was always very tasty. Between breakfast and lunch there are ample snacks and nuts and a variety of drinks. The hotel is very close to the new Sundance Square which has many bars, restaurants and shops. It is also close to the convention center.

The hotel is centrally located. Very clean and friendly staff. The valet parking was a bit steep. $22.00 for in and out parking seems high. The restaurant service was good and the servers were professional. Newspapers were available at the front desk. The room was very comfortable, roomy, and work area was functional.
