“Centrally located, quality in Downtown Ft. Worth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

The downtown Hilton exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely personable and helpful, the rooms and bathrooms were large and clean, very comfortable king bed (we were also upgraded to a mini suite for no extra charge), and the location is perfect. You can walk to a lot of restaurants and attractions downtown. The valet service isn't free, but it is convenient and the staff was efficient and hospitable.

Much thanks for staying with us recently and for taking time review your stay. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay and thank you for your comments regarding the staff and accommodations. The location of the hotel as you indicated is close to so many restaurants, night life, shopping and cultural venues. Plus coming in November- Sundance Square reopens with new restaurants, shops and a new Plaza. Also the downtown Fort Worth Holiday Tree will be in new Plaza. We are hopeful you will return soon and recommend to others. Thank you again. Dave Fulton VP and General Manager. dave.fulton@hilton.com

Was here for one night at a conference and was amazed at the service and the location. The front staff was awesome and the executive lounge is one of the best around. Lots of local restaurants and places to go, will be back for sure

Came here for a meeting, the food is great, the property is clean and quiet. Recently remodeled facilities. This is a historic location as JFK stayed here his last night in 1963. The staff are friendly and responsive. I was impressed as a gold member - wifi was free, as it should be, breakfast in exec club included. They have double insulated windows to keep noise low. Food is great. I will be here again in 2014 for a conference - would I stay again? yes, would I recommend it to others? Yes - it helps being a gold member, it cuts down on the gouging by all all the hotel chains including this one. Its close to the convention center and not overpriced. If you have a AAA rate it lowers the price even more.

Room Tip: pretty much all of them are quiet

Much thanks for staying with us while attending a conference and for your wonderful comments regarding the hotel, accommodations and our friendly and responsive team members. There is a great deal of history about our hotel- an Historic Landmark Building and the hote that JFK and Jackie stayed at in 1963. We are hopeful you had a chance to visit the new JFK Tribute in front of hotel. Coming up in the middle of October the Amon Carter Museum is opening an exhibit about the "Hotel Texas" our former name- which will display the art work placed in his suite while visiting Fort Worth back in 1963. I am pleased that you were able to take advantage of your Hilton HHonors status as a Gold Member- complimentary Wi-Fi and access to our Executive Lounge. We are hopeful as you indicated that when visiting Fort Worth again that will stay with us and recommend to others. Plus we typically offer at AAA value rate which you also took advantage of...Thank you again. Dave Fulton VP and General Manager. dave.fulton@hilton.com

I didn't expect that much in Dallas, but, hotel is very upscale, very friendly and exceptionally clean. As a Hilton Honor's Diamond Member, I enjoyed the perks of given access to the executive lounge, where food is flowing, a couch to sit down and relax. There are different snacks such as nuts and yogurt, plus a continental breakfast with hot food prepared by courteous staff.

We were very much impressed with the Hilton Downtown Fort Worth, Texas. The concierge and front desk provided impeccable service and the room was immaculate. There was a convention in the hotel, yet the staff provided undivided attention to our needs. Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Our room faced down the street and it was delightful in the evening with the building lights.

I expected more from Hilton. When we walked into our room we were transformed back to 1950. If you removed the flat screen TV you could actually think you were in 1950. No refrigerator or microwave and the coffee maker was the only thing that saved the morning. My wife had trouble sleeping because of the hallway noise. The noise didn’t bother me because I brought wine. We stayed here because of the Murder Mystery Dinner event. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have stayed here.
